I placed my order on 12/6 and was invoiced for the balance on 12/24. Mine shipped on 12/28 and arrived in this afternoon's mail.

Like a number of the folks that have commented above, I keep all of them as well. The more information about a given knife that I can get or retain, the better. I do have quite a few seconds which didn't come with the boxes though.

It sure was a surprise, albeit a very pleasant one, to get the invoice today and the notice that it is supposed to ship on Wednesday. Can't complain about the wait now, I sure didn't think it was going to make it's appearance this soon.

In light of the approaching anniversary of 9/11, it pushes the WTC knife to the top of my list without question.

I guess it would be more appropriate to consider it the most respected and cherished :spyder: for what it represents, rather than "most prized".

A defensive knife course. My wife has been carrying a knife every day ever since. And that was back in the mid 90's.

I watched that happen myself. Amazing... The bumps in the last minutes were colossal. It was what, something like $207.50 with about 15 minutes or so to go. Wow.

The left handed version went for just under 1/2 the price of the right handed version, at $247.50
