The Delica already uses thinner blade stock than most of the line-up. So I think the saber ground version is a good choice. For me, I like the FFG version because I value slicing and piercing ability over toughness.

Yes, the sheath does dull the final inch or so. But it's not just that. I find that the edge rolls easily.

My plain edge Aqua Salt gets dull just from looking at it. I've sharpened it a few times. Too bad because I like the design.

I would say lockbacks tend to have a little vertical blade play while liner/frame locks do not. I still like Spyderco's lockbacks and own a number of them.

Lame! The prices before the sale were good and some of the prices after were better, others were worse. But raising some prices right before the sale was lame, IMO.

My DigiCam Mili has a strong detent. My Orange Mili has a weaker but still adequate detent. I can't shake the blades out easily.

I actually have one of these that missed the Quality Control and made it on to the street. I will have to take it up to SFO and see if they can drill a hole in the G10 for me so I can have RH tip-up carry :) Mine had that issue. But it wasn't quite what it appeared to be. The hole was drilled almos...

My most recent purchase was a Persistence. I was also very impressed by the quality. I wasn't really surprised because I previously owned a Tenacious and that's a great one too. Between the two I prefer the Persistence.

My impression has been the same as yours - that the Caly 3.5 is not immediately popular like the Para Mili 2 for instance. I have the regular Caly 3 and while I normally prefer longer blades, the sleeker 3.5 blade doesn't look as good to me. Oddly I prefer the longer Tenacious blade shape to the Per...

Yeah, I think it could be called the new tactical. For me, a "hard use" knife doesn't have much appeal. I'm more interested in a knife with a thin edge and a high performance steel. I want a well engineered, solid, reliable lock but I don't care if it can't support a dump truck without fai...

They maybe sold out and had to order more made? Same problem with the Bob T. for which I've been waiting. I'm guessing both knives are both pretty popular and that there's only so much manufacturing capacity. OK thanks, I didn't realize the same was true of the Bob T. That factory in Taiwan is prod...
