Re: Letters on mule lable
Usually P stands for plain edge in the model number. I think you're talking about the date code. Does it go year, then month? A = Year 01 or Month January B = Year 02 or Month February C = Year 03 or Month March D = Year 04 or Month April E = Year 05 or Month May L would be December for a month, so ...

The one guy who made titanium scales way back, he took out the liners and made the titanium scales thicker, he also made a different style lanyard hole.

Re: Salt steels for pool/chlorinated water.?
This thread reminds me of that old thread where someone put a Salt knife in some very extreme chemicals.
I've been swimming in salt water and chlorinated water with H1 with no bad results.

Re: Manbug doesn‘t safely lock anymore
There was a thread a very long time ago. I think it was about some professional divers who used Salt folders regularly and they definitely noticed that they had a finite life. I think they figured out that the spring wasn't salt-water proof. I don't know if the work hardening part of H1 makes it bad...

Nice one Lance. I was expecting to see a fish in that box, but with you, you don't need one.
Is that a USN one or LC200N? I saw zombie green and thought I'd see a black blade. (Sorry if that's a dumb question, I haven't been following important things for a while.)

Re: Spyderco Models We Need In FULL SE
I like Serrations, but I don't use them a ton. If the weather is bad and I think I want to carry SE, I usually grab my S35VN Native 5 FRN. I think Spyderco has been good with making the Dragonfly a platform for carrying serrations. I have a couple of ideas. Mule teams in SE, so we can try new steels...

Re: AI art knows Spyderco
I would say that it would be interesting if a prototype was made out of what AI generated (with some human input).
I wonder where they pulled their info from. It's not like they're going to design something from scratch, it must be mostly a copy of something.

Re: Police 4 K390 SE Testing Log
Some people say that lock backs get some movement like that. I don't notice it on my most used lock backs, maybe they have it and maybe I don't pay attention or care. There are some lock back variations from other brands that seem to take care of that problem, but I think they're more difficult to u...

Re: Police 4 K390 SE Testing Log
I thought that the Police 3 somehow had a longer blade or edge. I'll have to compare one of my 3 vs 4.
This thread makes it look like the 3 might have a tiny bit more edge.

Manix 2 lightweight S110V
Delica
Endura
Native 5
I'd probably rotate the last one to try new things.

Re: Question for Sal, Crew, or Forumites
I kind of thought that if someone received the knife and returned it, it was marked as a second. I think a CC could return a knife.
I'm not 100% sure on the process.

This is definitely a pro-learning place. Thanks for asking the question. I'm sure a lot of people can learn from the information in this thread. I don't own a Swayback, I'm glad to see the construction of it. I'm a little surprised with the size of the screw heads on the lock bar insert (and the bla...

Re: Decision time what to purchase, don’t say by both
I have both and like the normal sized one better. I think I have carried the XL a couple of times, but the normal one is one of my favorites.
Actually, I like the lightweight over the linered/G-10 version. How much cutting power you get with such little weight in your pocket is pretty amazing.
