Possible to change out the blade on a Military?
I've got the Foliage Green Military with the D2 blade, but it only came in PE. My girlfriend got it for me and I really like the Foliage Green handle. I just would rather have something with some teeth that I would carry. I don't carry plain edge models much at all. Is it possible for me to contact ...

I was watching Hannibal yesterday and--after the response I got with my last question (regarding the Endura in Strange Days )--I thought I'd venture to ask: Of what blade steel would have been this Harpy? I've only ever seen Harpies in VG-10, but then I've never seen any of this vintage; Han...

How is Ka Bar quality?
I know it's a brand a lot of people go to but how does it rank up for factory sharpness and overall quality? I want a fixed blade but can't afford to stick to Spyderco for one so I was thinking about getting the basic Ka Bar USMC model.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I'm trying to sell some of my tools that I don't really use on another forum and Craigslist. If that works, cool. If not whatever. I am still most worried about losing my job; but even if that happens despite it being a tight market I'm sure I could find somet...

How do you deal with this?
Rent's due, got just enough for that, then I'm running on empty, literally. Doctor's orders that I can't work this week. Don't have any sick days available to get paid time off (company doesn't give anyone any sick days). Boss won't let me use vacation time for it, but is actually considering firing...

I've had a Citizen EcoDrive Blue Angels Skyhawk for over 8 years now. Still going strong (minus a chip out of the glass and a few scratches... accidentally smacked it real hard into the end of a beam at work :( ) If I don't wear it for a while or leave it inside in a dark area I have to put it in th...

Anyone else have Crohn's Disease?
I've been diagnosed since I was 7 or 8. 21 now. Been off treatment for two years for lack of insurance/funds. Getting back on now as I have insurance and just barely enough for the co-pays. The costs are eating me and I find myself down in the dumps a lot about it. Going in for a colonoscopy and EGD...

Who needs to stab through a car door? Not cut, as was previously mentioned, but stab, which is all I've seen CS knives do. The penetration isn't even enough to get through whatever vinyl/upholstery/plastic housing is covering it on the interior it seems. I guess if you wanted to intimidate someone y...

The Endura was about 80 bucks and the Ladybug was 40, right? I checked Gander Mountain before too, and I searched all around all of their gun cases and then I asked someone where the heck the Spydercos that they said they carried were. The associate pointed me to two clamshell packages hanging, hous...
