Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes
The Mamba looks amazing! If it hits production, I will be buying one. Love the up-swept blade, which reminds me of favorite designs such as the Chinook and BM 860. Size and flipper deployment are great. The killer profile of the handle and the contoured machining of the CF really match up perfectly ...

Re: Spyderco K2 after a month of use.
How is the lock setting in? I was set to get one of these upon release. However, I've been holding off due to reports of late lockup or the lock hitting the opposite scale after short term use.

The Tuff is one of the designs I have been watching with great anticipation. I really loved the looks of the scales with the pocket shredder texture. The dimpled design takes something away from the overall look of the knife. It could be my perception that the dimples look haphazardly placed on the ...

I haven't had very many fit and finish issues with regular production Spyderco knives. However, I've noticed almost every sprint I get has something that sticks out. BD30 Manix had the chewed up edges on the liners, 20CP Para had uneven jimping, some small bald patches on the g-10 texturing and the ...

I just received my FRCP Manix today. It seems like I have been waiting forever for a lightweight Manix with bi-directional textured handles. Now it's here and it's even better than I would have imagined. I would have been happy with plain old FRN, but FRCP takes it to a new level in appearance. This...

Twill carbon fiber
I have seen a few guys have taken their Gayle Bradley's apart. Can anyone tell me if the scales are full carbon fiber or are they carbon fiber over g10?

The clear Manix looks cool. Love the wire clip. Removing the liners from the equation definitely solves the expected weight loss. The pinned construction kinda brings it down a notch, but they must have to compromise somewhere. I am just wondering if the clear material is actually FRN or a new mater...

More 154cm?
Will there be any other Spyderco's with 154cm blades in the future?
