I like textured G10 as I find that it is very grippy when wet. Some of the pure (plastic) resins can get pretty slippery if your hand is sweaty or you're working in the rain or other fluids get on it.

I EDC my mini manix combo and if I bought it again, I wouldn't get the serrated version. You can put such a sweet edge on that S30V that you really don't need them. I've yet to encounter something that I can't slice right through with a much cleaner cut than if I'd sawed it with the serrations. $0.0...
