Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

"B" has to be the spot. The idea of the design as I understand it is to keep the same cockpit as the Yojimbo 2. Like how Glock did their mini Glocks back in the day. I think the handle on this guy is just coming up a little bit short. Although I have not had one in hand yet.

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

That pinky issue is what I was worried about. The brick and mortar I stopped at on Sunday didn't have them in yet. I've seen some videos on YouTube but no one has done a serious review yet. I'm pretty disappointed hearing about the pinky not fitting.

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

I'm in complete agreement Flash. I'm also worried about the fit of the handle in the hand. It looks like it's going to be possibly short to the point where the pinky finger will not have any purchase on it. My Lil Native is like that, just a tad to short. I've been looking at the index finger situat...

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

Wow! I've been waiting and waiting for this little guy to hit the market. I wonder what is causing all the delays. To me it would have been just as good to re-release
the Gen 1 but with a wire clip.

Touche. You weren't kidding. They look excellent. I'm the same way, all my Spydercos are users.

Re: Anybody know if there is a Yojimbo 1 re release on the horizon?

I'm really wondering how the new Micro Jimbo is going to be ergonomically. To my understanding one of the main reasons they came out with it is to get back under the 3 inch blade mark. I wouldn't have minded just a re release of the Gen 1. It's sub 3 inch.

All I have to say is โ˜น๏ธ. I was soooo wishing that they were going to do a re release. To me that model is perfect. I do like the 2 also but number one is the one.

I completely agree with you. A deep pocket clip would be excellent on it also.

Anybody know if there is a Yojimbo 1 re release on the horizon?

I saw a YouTube Short from Spyderco of the Yojimbo 1. I'm sure hoping that means that a re release is coming soon. Anybody know anything?

Re: Can you tell from picture of Salt FRN if it's real or fake?

Thanks guys. My whole collection is almost all G-10 Spydercos. My only FRN knives are 2 Dragonflies and the FRN on those are excellent. No ruff edges at all on the FRN. Intact, the FRN on them has a great grippy feel.

Re: Can you tell from picture of Salt FRN if it's real or fake?

OK, thanks. The thing on this one that's had me the most suspicious is the sharpness of the edge of all of the FRN. It almost looks like there is a little line of FRN material going around the inner edges. Like a sharp plastic edge to all of the contours.

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

OK, thanks. I have a DragonFly and a Lil Native, not a Delica yet. With the DragonFly if I'm gripping (handle + choil) I'm getting 4 fingers, so looks like I'm going to be adding a Micro Jimbo to my collection. I love the Yojimbo 2. Wish I had the 1.

Can you tell from picture of Salt FRN if it's real or fake?

Hi Everyone, Could you please help me figure out if this Salt is real or not from these pictures of the FRN? For some reason the FRN just doesn't look right to me. Let me know what you think. Real or fake?

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

I'd like to know if the handle length is going to leave your pinky squeezing handle or nothing. I'm hoping handle but it's hard to tell. Glocks have been mentioned and the 26,27,29, and 30 (mini Glocks) leave your pinky floating. Any insight into how this little guy feels in hand would be great. Oh ...

Re: Delica 4 Saber Grind Authenticity

Hey guys, here's the main thing that has my suspicion up. This is how the "C" looks on my other Seki City Spydercos ( DragonFly 2s and Qball ). You can see the difference. What you can't see which also has my suspicion up is that the detent on this Delica is not as snappy as on my other ba...

Re: Delica 4 Saber Grind Authenticity

Thanks a lot for your insights. The clip hasn't concerned me all that much. For me it's mainly how that "C" looks. All my other Seki City Spydercos ( DragonFly 2s and Qball ) have all had the "C" in City curve inwards like the text "C". This one the "C" doesn'...

Re: Delica 4 Saber Grind Authenticity

Thanks. I was hoping that maybe it was a first release or something and that's why it has the little differences. The shape of the "C" in City though with the edges not hooking in a little is the real thing that got me looking and that "G" looking so crazy. I've seen YouTube vide...
