Re: Spyderco Black Friday Map Holiday Sales 2023!
City Arsenal has their Spydies on sale https://cityarsenal.com/shop/?perpage=56&orderby=price-desc&_stock=1&_product_brand=spyderco This is killing me. I'd buy a UKPK, Native Salt, a Subway Bowie, all LC200n. And I'd take a purple Ladybug (cant call it buy at that price). I could even b...

https://i.postimg.cc/2S9vqZhY/IMG-7938.jpg Waterway for $122 is awesome That is the first thing I spotted. Adding custom taxes and shipping to France makes it unfortunately too expensive... This is funny to see US people complaining about the deals not being that great this year. Compared to Europe...

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?
Thanks for the feedback LeDe. As for what I meant by using a tip draw, it just means to place the knife tip on your cutting surface, then draw it across what you are cutting. I would do this to apple quarters to slice them. With a wharncliffe this becomes problematic because the tip would dig into ...

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?
I used my Salt 2 Wharncliff a lot for food prep... This comment had me really interested, I always assumed wharncliffes wouldn't work well for food prep because I tend to do a lot of tip draws on food with paring knives or any knife without knuckle clearance over a cutting surface. That's one of th...

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?
The Endura 4 is still my favorite spyderco model. I’d love to see one with a delica’s stock thickness however. Was hoping that at least the Endela would carry over the thinner Delica blade stock...but it got the 3 mm of the Endura. That would be great, I love how my delica handles food prep having ...

Re: 2023 Seconds sale! ..are you going?
Is that a UKPK Heinnie heynes G10 that I spot? If yes, out of curiosity how much did they go for? From the models I saw, that would have been in my basket along probably a Caribbean. Out of the premium model, I may have gone for a Drunken. Thanks, Yes, that is the HH UKPK, cost me $52. And in looki...

Re: Giving the gift of a Spyderco
People around me are not just non-knife people. I gifted my brother a victorinox Classic. When I asked a few months later if he ever carried it, he said and I quote/translate exactly: " I am not going to travel around with a knife"... So when I see a sale, i cant even justify buying a knif...

Re: Giving the gift of a Spyderco
I don't really have that much of this opportunity here. The only person who does not find me weird for loving knives is my wife. It is when I offered her her pink Dragonfly that i started digging my own hole further. It has been quite a costly year. So good deed dont always pays off I guess. Unless ...

I'd be happy with one. Do sprint ever make it to Europe? Luckily they do! :smlling-eyes (Differently too - of course - exclusives (I am pretty certain that there has been no European dealer Exclusive so far - hope this will change some day... https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=95535...

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
... For being such a specialized knife there seems to be quite some interest for it, at least on this forum. Hope it doesn't catch on amongst the Instagram crowd and that there's enough for everyone who really "needs" one. Oh man... I´ve never, ever been on Instagram, Facebook or the like...

Yes I'd take a G10 salt wharnie from HH. I'd lean PE LC200n but I am a reasonable man.

Re: Experiences with hawkbills?
I have the same philosophy with some other tools as well, so I don't think it's the knife enthusiast in me looking for a way to justify another knife - I have no problem accomplishing that without adding a HB to my sock drawer. Are you sure? Or is it your enthusiam applying to a broader area than &...

Re: Experiences with hawkbills?
I was not sure about the hawkbill so I got a DF first. Not versatile but I like it and carry it a fair bit next to a PE blade or a SAK. Probably not a rationale choice but a fun one.
Now it convinced me to buy a Tasman Salt which I am thinking may work well as my spearfishing knife.

Re: Yellow Magnacut :(
Hey Vivi, No timidity or complaint here. It actually looks like it fits my skillset. Just cant be bothered I guess. I have a Ladybug, a dragonfly, a DF hawkbill, a Tasman, a Pacific and also a Salt 2 wharnie on the way. All SE salt yellow. As much as I would buy a new color, I also like them as they...
