Re: What % of you collection has the factory edge angle?
Ill go first. The only knives I have with factory edge angle are my extensive scandi collection, and the knives Ive ordered from small makers. The scandi, Those get sharpened on the grind, then a fine micro bevel with the finishing stone. In the field they will get touched up on the micro, but back ...

Re: Screw sizes
Settle down dude, you've been going off in multiple threads now. Very strange to have your problem in 3 knives, but you've been given a couple, very simple, diy ideas. All you can do is continue to try and contact them if you think it's a screw issue, though I'm doubting that, it's likely a lube/ad...

Re: Took Apart My Endura
Some of you guys should read about the grades of threads. Aerospace industry has threads that are incredibly precise. I suppose all the cheap taiwan reject screws are more money in sal's pocket. Ill change that opinion when spyderco stops selling me knives that have the screws fall out in one day, ...

That would only work if i had screws to loctite.aicolainen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 1:50 pmNo attempt to excuse poor customer service, if that’s your experince WyoJon, but I’d rather spend that energy applying a non permanent thread lock on your screws and you should be fine in no time.

Re: Took Apart My Endura
I dont even take my spydercos apart and the screws keep falling out of them while motorcycling. Must be the altitude. Spyderco customer service is worthless these days, no answer phone, no call backs, ignore emails. Im ready to sell out and buy benchmades.

Re: Screw sizes
Even worse, my new from them tasman salt I purchased this year, that has never been disassembled, had the pivot screw rattle out while I was riding on my motorcycle. So now I have 3 knives that are missing pivot screws. Not very happy with spyderco right now.

Re: Screw sizes
Are you outside the US or something? Did the policy on this change recently? I've called for screws a few times and got them mailed to me for free. I have had to call a few times to get them on it, but ultimately I've never been flat out told no you can't have any of our garbage screws. You should ...

Re: Spyderco hardware origin.
Agreed about the quality of the torx screws. I genuinely enjoy my Spyderco fanboy life, but I think this is a criticism they should take note of as it is quite possibly the weakest link in their otherwise amazing product. One other link. Spyderco charges for clips, and clip screws like we tried to ...

Screw sizes
Anyone have screw sizes or part numbers for spyderco knives? Particularly looking for dragonfly model screw sizes. Customer service will not provide anything other than selling me a clip for $10. I have bought several of these from spydercos, and get the same deformed screws that come on the knives ...

Re: Stuck screw
Or slot it with a die grinder and cut off wheel. Or run a drill bit into the screw where it comes out the other side.

None. Because buttons always end up on the right side where they are unusable.
