Re: Spyderco SpydieChef CQI - Linerlock quality
Curious what the issue you have with it is, are you expecting the frame lock to go further to the other scale to be under the blade 100%? is it the angle? not sure what the issue is because it looks normal to me, would have to check mine when I get home but I am pretty sure its just like that as is ...

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2
Mine was a little tight in the pivot on arrival but I’ve learned to leave it alone and it’ll loosen with use. Sure enough, it’s smoothed out over the past week and has great action now. That’s been my experience with a lot of coated blades and I’ve come to expect it. So the coating helps with the a...

Re: Your favorite exclusives
I have a few but have to say hands down my favorite is the cutlery shoppe wharncliffe, the orange XHP first and the blacked out s30v second, next would probably be my BHQ M4 yojimbo. I dont have them but the St Nicks 4v line is nice for the colour combo and I really like the knife joker forrest gree...

Is the black still a DLC coating or is it a new coating they were talking about at shot show?

Fluid film works great, havent even gotten so much as a patina on anything because of it, rain, sweat, fruit....no issues.

Re: Jende Spyderco stones for guided sharpeners.
Heard they are legit and have decent products, but to be honest while these stones might be decent, the fact they are misleading customers into thinking these are legit spyderco stones bothers me quite a bit, I just dont trust a company that does that and I was recently planning to get some of their...

I know this is an old thread and we all have seen the 15v by now but was wondering if we could get 2 updates from Shawn any word on the collab folder or if its still in the works? Also its been quite some time now so can we get an update on how the 15v gyotu has been performing in the kitchen...pros...

Re: I don't give a #@$! about stainless
I used to say Magnacut is overrated all the time but while I think it still might be a little meaning its overhyped some, Ive come to realize that its just something that I dont need because the tool steels are far better in the areas that I need and corrosion resistance is of zero importance to ME,...

Re: Would this work, Wharncliff Manix?
This would be incredible as Wharncliffes are my favorite blades, but I highly doubt they will do it for the reasons others have said, not sure why the sales are slow, maybe people just havent actually used one to see for themselves Im not sure. The PM2 exclusive wharncliffe is incredible as is the r...

Re: Cheap diamond stones — you probably want some
I have this exact set of diamond plates off Amazon, figured why not they were cheap. They do in fact work but I question the grits being accurate, the 400 and 1200 are not much different while on my worksharp the 320 and 600 are noticeable different to feel and see. Either way they do work, just got...

Re: Paramilitary 2 vs Shaman
the Shaman is a beast, it is thicker blade stock so you can be less worried about breaking the tip like the PM2, it is heavier but to be honest the size is really not much different in the pocket, it feels like a much larger knife but its really not, some find the contoured scales more comfortable b...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Went a bit overboard this week, but have a Blade HQ exclusive Yojimbo DLC/M4 jade scales which should have tomorrow then a cuttlery shoppe wharncliffe PM2 DLC coated s30v (already have the orange scale CTS-XHP) and ordered a Swayback I got for a great deal with black friday sales and managed to pick...

Re: Still searching for a P'kal
Finally got one, must say, its a very fun knife to play with, wouldnt be my first choice for an EDC task knife but it would work just fine, the deployment blows away any of the other emerson wave knives like the matriarch or endela etc, its intended to sit at the front of the pocket instead if the r...

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?
Think they need more options, this is what makes many other models more popular, I have the endura k390 wharncliffe and its one of my favorite knives, not as pretty as some others but functional use its one of the best, I dont mind the FRN but I do with they had other options like G10 or Micarta, it...

Re: Straight Forward Comments About Spyderco's From Another Forum
Funny that seem to be a VERY common theme, it was for me, hated the look of spyderco and was a benchamde guy (still great knives) got my first spyderco (smock) loved it and got a Shaman a week later, still thought the PM2 was kinda ugly but eventually got one and wow, great knife and totally get the...

Re: Forum Exclusive Kickstarter
A forum exclusive would be great, as stated it would be hard to find something people agree on, however someone could make a poll listing different catagories, model, blade steel, blade shape (just hoping for a PM2 wharncliffe or tanto lol but could leave this one out) scale material, color etc. the...

Re: if you could only own a 5 Spyderco knife collection:
Cutlery shoppe PM2 wharncliffe exclusive 15v PM2 Cruwear Shaman Manix 2 in M4 but scale swap or dye job as the mint green is awful K390 wharncliffe endura. Of course It's a tough choice, hard leaving my smock out of it but it's a better looking k ife than some but I posted 5 that would be the best u...
