Re: Will they ever have full Superblue again?

I heartily second this. I love Superblue steel, and the Calypso Jr. that was released in Superblue a few years back is one of my most prized pieces.

Oso Grande, discontinued models & the Brouwer

Although I'm sure many people are familiar with the retailer Oso Grande Knives, I had never heard of them until the other day, when I discovered that they still had Brouwers for sale at the standard retail price of $186. I could hardly believe my eyes--Brouwers have been sold out for a long time at ...

Re: MT36P – K294 MICROCLEAN Mule Team Dropping Soon!

A little more pricey than recent mules, I assume because it's Euro steel. Not that I'm complaining--the mules are a great deal. But Knife Center and BladeHQ are running sales on discontinued models, so the kids might be getting a lot of Top Raman dinners this month.

Ooh ooh Endura next please! What a cool color and steel, loving my Dragonfly it hasn’t left my pocket.
Heck yeah. Then I could say I have a pair of the classic Spyderco designs in Superblue and Supergold.

M398 mules have arrived

I genuinely appreciate that Spyderco doesn't take a week to "process my order" after I make a purchase. Took the new mule to several big boxes I'd saved for today, and even slicing the pieces into just slightly larger than confetti-sized squares, my thumb/arm hair tests can't detect any ch...

Re: Mastercard no longer accepted

Yeah...I finally got it to work. About two min after I made the post, I refreshed the page to try one last time, and finally the option to select MC and enter the # worked like it was supposed to. The problem was that every time I selected MC it removed the fields for the # and ex date. So I guess t...

Mastercard no longer accepted

If anyone else is trying to purchase a mule with a Mastercard and failing because the website doesn't allow a cc # to be entered when the Mastercard option is selected, it because, apparently, Spyderco no longer accepts Mastercard. This according to the gentleman to whom I just spoke on the phone. S...

Re: MT38P - M398 Mule Team Release!

I've been looking forward to this one most of all, but it will have to perform really well to displace my Rex 76 mule for daily carry. That might be my new favorite steel.

Patina on Rex 76?

I've been using my Rex 76 mule for anything and everything since I got it, and given the time of year, that has included slicing a lot of tomatoes, apples, peaches, etc.--in other words, acidic foods. I always rinse and wipe the blade when I'm done, but so far, it hasn't developed any patina and I b...

Re: Cpm-T15

I've been following the project since its inception and haven't missed a drop yet. I can tell you with absolute certainty that any guess on a drop date will be wrong. I do expect one in December or thereabouts, but January is equally likely. Fair enough, thank you. I suppose I had it in my head tha...

Re: Cpm-T15

Anyone more experienced than me with mule team release dates care to hazard a guess when the T15 might drop? Because just today I learned that in the near future I will be purchasing a Manix 2 with a 15V blade, and a Thor pattern Damasteel Opera with a solid carbon fiber handle would also be pretty ...

Re: MT33 CPM REX 76 -First Impressions, Performance, and Testing Thread

Got mine yesterday--my first mule--and have been slicing cardboard boxes into unnecessarily small pieces ever since. Although I usually prefer to sharpen factory edges before first use, I decided to just strop this one. So far, it handles a lot like my Rex 45 Military, i.e., it's kept its edge throu...

Delivered today

This was my first mule team purchase, and it just arrived about an hour ago. I slapped on the scales, stopped up, and payed through the recycling bin to find some virgin carboard...no box in my neighborhood will be safe. Anyone else's arrive today?

Re: 1st Mule Team purchase: Tried to give me a heart attack

Also my first mule purchase, and although I was anticipating the slow site, I wasn't anticipating getting to the order confirmation page and having it time out before the transaction was completed...three separate times. I knew the problem wasn't on my end because everything else was running fine, b...

Re: Rex 76 mule. Who got one?

I got two. My first two. I'm extremely pleased. Finally got off my duff and remembered to check this forum in advance for the release date. It took three tries to get the final confirmation order page to load, and judging by the fact that there are still some available, I'm assuming the traffic was ...
