Re: Handle Scale Vendors
Anyone order from here? https://votixedc.com/collections/spyderco I bought some micarta scales for my Delica from there. They are pretty nice, I like them quite a bit. Shipping took a little over a month to the U.S. though. https://i.postimg.cc/KvL9W4Wn/Delica.jpg Nice knife! I have the Votix skinn...

Re: Corrosion Reports
Not much to report but there was a small bit of red rust on my Rex45 Native 5 just under the scale on the show side. I've carried this knife quite a bit at work (auto mechanic) and at home on my small farm doing chores. I kind of expected more since it didn't always get wiped down after use. It wip...

Re: Why Do Seki Models Have Lock Rock??!!
After reading this thread I checked all of mine out of curiosity. Definitely not scientific, just more of could I "perceive" lock rock or not. I have 4 Golden, none with perceivable lock rock I have 12 Seki, 6 have no perceivable lock rock and 6 do. Only one would I consider bothersome (St...

Re: Show your love for Taichung Taiwan Spydercos!
https://i.postimg.cc/x8hgr7YT/chef.jpg That’s gorgeous!!! Did you flame/heat the scales to get that rainbow effect? I know titanium will do that. That’s the reason it makes the COOLEST header and exhaust material. My one Lynch clip is the industrial heat finish and it’s got the rainbow heat treatme...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I picked this up several weeks ago as my main chore knife for my mini farm. I use it daily for cutting twine on bales of hay and opening feed sacks. It represents a few firsts for me, first H1, first serrated, and first wharncliffe (sp?) folding knife. For the tasks intended it is working fantastic...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
This Native has been my main work knife for the last year. I occasionally opt for a Salt2 or a Bugout depending on weather, but I carry this 90% of the time at work.
