No haha. Not for a German compnay. It's for a knife store in NYC. It's a Chinese style chef knife made in Japan.

Maybe a disclaimer / warning in box and on website. Kind of like there's a warning for the steel's that aren't stainless. Could have a warning that the knife is not intended for chopping and doing so can result in damage to the knife.

I use a small Chinese cleaver for almost everything.
