Re: Coated Seki K390 knives?
I’ve been using my mint green M4 coated delica for a while and love the coating on it, it doesn’t flake even with abuse and has is nearly as easy to care for as stainless. It’s really fantastic wish I saw more seki tool steel spydercos with it. Will there ever be plans to release the K390 seki spyd...

I’m glad the Police 4 is getting some love. I’m interested in that, the temperance, and the k390 stretch xl

Re: Coated Seki K390 knives?
I just had a couple of my police models cerakoted. One is k390… it’s not as durable as dlc but it’s something. I mainly did it for the color and unique cool factor

Re: Post your Spyderco collection in one picture!
I never have my collection much over 10. I whittled it down to these that I use the most. A couple recently got Cerakoted.

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!
I’ve had the same issue on other knives with trying to have the clip in tip down. The screws are just slightly too long. I put the ends of them on some sand paper to get a thread or two off. That worked so I was able to carry tip down and the screws wouldn’t protrude through the liners too far. Yea...

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!
Ok, I was a little worried I was throwing good money after bad, but I ordered an MXG clip. I think it was $27 shipped. https://i.imgur.com/CmlSxkLl.jpg It’s only about an 1/8th of an inch longer but the contact point is way closer to the tip. Huge win. It’s also slightly thicker material so I was h...

Re: Yojumbo M4
i'm replying to myself here but I don't encourage doing any swaps unless you are willing to accept responsibility for whatever it is that you do to your stuff. I am familiarizing myself with other threads here about disassembly and I see the impact it has from the unscrupulous and others have to ab...

So you don’t like combo edges in general? Or for this particular model?yablanowitz wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 3:50 pmI have over 50 Police models and not a single one is combo edge, so no, thank you.

Re: Golden Serrated Salts
Native chief lw is dang close to a golden salt without a actually being a salt. Bd1n has excellent corrosion resistance and when it’s also dlc coated it may as well be one for most people. I’m grabbing one of these dlc serrated versions

Re: Anyone Else Up For a Resilience in CPM-M4?
The s35vn resilience has been hard to resist, since I also have a bias against Chinese made things when I can help it. M4 resilience would be even harder to resist. Maybe if I can be convinced that my bias can have an exception since it’s Spyderco….

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Decided to take mine apart and customize it. Replaced the detent with a ceramic one (2mm like every other Colorado comp lock model), skinnied it, and modified the front choil to not have the pointy g10 towards the front (I always do this, it opens up room for the tip of your index finger so is much...
