Re: Any Double Bladed Desires?
A double thickness UKPK with FRN or G-10 on the outside, two blades sharing a pivot, and a single steel liner between the blades would be something that would appeal to me. one se, one pe. I do prefer the leaf blade on the ukpk personally, but the other blade shape might be a better choice because t...

Re: Stretch 2 pivot screw washer size
Oh that washer! It appears to be sometimes included and sometimes not. I've had several K390 Delicas. Some of them had it and some of them didn't. I do have a K390 Stretch 2. I measured with a cheap set of digital calipers. The washer is tiny. It's fairly difficult to measure, so these are approxima...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
For a tiny three-finger knife, the Dragonfly ergonomics line up a lot better for my hand. So it does end up being my most-carried knife, often as a secondary in a shirt or jacket pocket, etc.. What I'd really like to see is improvements on the Dragonfly LW. The big one is just offering it (especial...

Re: Stretch 2 pivot screw washer size
The Delica, Endela, and Endura all use the same washers. I'd bet the Stretch 2 does too. There are replacements available in the aftermarket. I'm sure Spyderco can supply a replacement, but it's an internal part, so you'd probably need to send your knife in for service. I believe their policy is th...

Re: Crucarta Manix 2
according to Spyderco's website, the Crucarta Manix 2 weighs the same as the S30v Manix 2, so I'm assuming the liners aren't skeletonized. does anyone have one yet?

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
This thread inspired me to carry my Dragonfly for a day and then carry my Lil’ Native for a day and compare them. The Dragonfly seems to fill almost all of the boxes. That point on the spine is the big turn off for me. The Lil’ Native checks off almost all of the same boxes but the smooth contours ...

Re: aftermarket Pivot replacement pm2 and others
Ya, I guess people don't want to send their knife in to warranty or deal with the hoops. I remember needing screws for a Yo2, and for what ever reason, I think they wanted pictures of the knife? It was in pieces because I was doing a swap so I didn't bother. People don't want the third degree as to...

Re: Golden Serrated Salts
Seems like I derailed this thread to become a CE appreciation thread. Though it wasn't my intention, I'm very happy to see so many of you sharing my appreciation. I hope Sal and co takes notice :smiling-cheeks In contrast to Wartstein it took quite a while before I dared to dip my toes in the murky...

Re: Golden Serrated Salts
Not to mention CE salts. I know I’ll sound like a broken record in this regard, but the total absence of CE in the salt production lineup is both surprising and a little disappointing. Of the Golden salts I think a Manix CE would be my preference, but ideally I’d also like to see backlock in the 3....

Golden Serrated Salts
For a lot if not most, there's both a plain edge and serrated version of each of the Seki Salts.
For the Native 5 Salts and for the Native Chief Salts, there are both PE and SE.
Will there be SE versions of the PM2, Para 3, or Manix 2 Salts?
Just wondering,
Christian

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
There’s an upcoming lil Native lightweight with blade stock the same as a Dragonfly or Delica. Looking forward, I’d expect that turns into a Salt version eventually. The Emerson opener Dragonfly is really cute. 🥰 Edit: I’m pretty biased in that my most used knife lately is a serrated lil Native. I c...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
I prefer the Lil Native to the dragonfly, but they don't get jealous, so you can have both. for me, the lil Native is better. The lil Native is available in a compression lock, mid back lock, or a slip joint. There's also a wharncliffe version. If I'm going to clip it, I''ll take the compression loc...

Re: PM2 Slippy G10
There was a forest green g-10 s45vn sprint with diamond arc (?) texture which was very very grippy. Too much for a lot of people.
The new PM2 Salt would probably be a good thing to try.
