Re: UKPK Salt availability ?

I think it's less entitlement than exasperation at such an ironic situation : a restricted knife being first available on an unrestricted market. It's wrong to blame Spyderco for that - but there's no avoiding the fact that seeing one of the few knives you can carry being sold where it's least neede...

They have recently began including a small sticker in the box with each knife. It is the small round sticker recently pictured by "Mini2white"
Glad to hear that, cheers 👍

Accessory : suggestions for a Spyderco keyring/keychain

You know, I'm a sucker for goodies :zany After browsing that thread about the Spyderco stickers, I thought it'd be cool to have Spyderco keyrings too. Keyrings are useful for all sorts of reasons... whether it's to sort one's many sets of keys, to offer small gifts to friends and colleagues, or (for...

Re: Spyderco sticker variations?

These look cool. Not sure where you get them, though.

I wish Spyderco would throw a few of them with each knife :pleading

Re: Lil Para

To add to my previous post, another improvement that the Lil' Para should have is : a longer finger choil edge. Compare the one on the Paramilitary 2 vs the one on the Para 3. The former is longer, which helps fit the finger better. So basically the finger choil edge on the Lil' Para should be as lo...

Re: Lil Para

Nice shoop 👍

It's reminiscent of the Cat, but with a more aggressive blade shape and a compression lock instead.

It could also be a perfect opportunity to introduce a wireclip for the three-screw mount.

Re: Did Spyderco go too far in catering to steel junkies?

Speaking about which, it would be pretty nice if Spyderco offered an official customisation programme for some of its best-selling knives, like Benchmade does. This way, the steel junkies could mate their sought after, expensive blades together with other nice options. Spyderco could even team up wi...

Could see myself wearing the cap on the left, except they don't seem available on Spyderco's or retailers' websites.

Re: What would you like to see next from Byrd?

I would be all over reasonably priced Byrd machetes, tomahawks, large fixed, smaller blades, etc. Good call. Personally, I'd like to see a Byrd santoku -style kitchen knife. Spyderco currently has the K08BK with a 17cm blade which goes for 95$. I envision a smaller, Byrd version of that ; featuring...
