Re: Reveal 14 teaser from September's byte

My guess the only SPY27 model we may see in this reveal is Stretch 2XL SPY27 Sprint run.

I was looking forward for this one quite a bit, but now it would be hard to decide between S2XL and Native Chief LW in SPY27.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

Checking in here, has anyone managed to find micarta scales for this bad boy yet? https://i.imgur.com/5NaW8x4.jpg Pic for attention. I may be wrong, but for achieving a nice fit, the only way to go is a custom-made micarta for your specific example. Such construction involves G10 scales, full stain...

Re: Lil' Temperance 3 Trainer?

I would purchase one in a heartbeat, but, like Zuludelta, I’m lil' skeptical if there is enough audience to justify the production costs. Unfortunately… Also, although rooted in MBC design, I feel Spyderco sees its future more in the heavy-duty knife territory, emphasizing its utilitarian function. ...

Re: Reveal 14 teaser from September's byte

really hoping its a Jot Singh since someone is riding the knife. Thought that’s what I was seeing too. Looks like a bull-riding scene or cowboy on a kicking bronco. Makes me wonder if that’s another hint about the knife, maybe the name? The name “Choil-less Shaman” is a bit underwhelming in my opin...

I haven't heard anything about such a thing, but, never say never. Sal said he would draw up 3.5" and 4" versions, over in the LT3LW thread. Can you supply the link to Sal’s mention of larger LT3LWs? I haven’t found the reference. If it help you with visualization:) https://forum.spyderco...

Is there any way to know if this is the CQI version? A few seller mention it (ie Coutellerie Tourangelle) but Sharg does not. Thanks, Since the screws are black on that picture, it must be the CQI version. I haven't seen a dealer carrying the original version with grey screws for a while now ! You ...
