Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?

Last night I put a 6.22” dinner roll in a full Filipino grip and have it a good squeeze. I placed the roll on top of an image of the MicroJimbo blown up to 100% scale. The forefinger indent in the bread was in almost the exact same spot as the MicroJimbo’s finger choil. I would have taken a pic, but...

Re: Yojumbo as EDC

For me, edc entails using the blade in an office setting to cut open the occasional; box, plastic strap and an envelope or two. The aggressive texture of my Yojumbo’s scales are perfect for tactical/self defense use. The same texture is not very friendly on the pockets of a pair of slacks. I’ve been...

Re: Ronin 2 back in stock with new sheath

Saw that comment about the refined sheath. Other than having additional holes, does anyone know if any other refinements were made to the sheath?

Re: Sanding/Chamfering G10 scales - Tips, tricks, and results?

Thanks for starting this thread! I was thinking if smoothing the textured g10 on my Yojumbo. If I’m only going to do a few passes with sandpaper, do the scales have to be taken off?

Any advice on sanding g10? I thought I read somewhere that it can irritate the skin.

Re: Let’s talk SE fixed blades

Has anybody used the SE Swick for edc tasks? Wondering how the grip/shape work for the day-to-day stuff?

Knife cargo shorts

Who makes a sturdy pair of cargo shorts with pockets that are good for holding a pocket knife?

I’ve gone through too many flimsy shorts where the pockets hang down too low, or get hung up on the clip when I draw the knife.

Re: Sharpening Spydiechef with Sharpmaker

Thanks guys! I think I suck at keeping the blade dead vertical when doing my strokes. Will try some of these tips. Appreciate it!

Sharpening Spydiechef with Sharpmaker

I’m a wharncliffe guy and just picked up a 2nd hand Spydiechef. Never tried sharpening a blade with this much belly. Any tips for a novice sharpener trying to tune up a Spydiechef on a Sharpmaker?

Any suggestions on where to get some scales for the Yojumbo? Looking for something a little more gentle on the pockets.

Salt Snap-it shackle removal

Has anyone removed the shackle on a Salt Snap-it?

I would like to know if the existing hardware still fits with the shackle removed? Or do you need shorter hardware?

Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Caribbean Sheepsfoot

Hi Ajl808, Welcome to our forum. My long term goal is FRN. To introduce this new but some what strange model, I needed a pattern with good grip and easily visible. It was kind of a "Watershed" model. Materials , fitted, nested liners, LC, etc. When we catch up a bit, I'd like to make this...
