Re: Can't get no respect

I decided to just live with the rattle of the guard. So there I was on Friday making a fire and wanted to split some 2x4s. Figured I'd use the respect to baton them. Everything was going good until it wasn't. Everyone was worried about the hole being a weak spot but apparently it was the spot where...

Best way to figure out prices on secondary market

Hey y'all, hopefully some can help me. Im currently trying to figure out what to charge for some knives I'm needing to give up, I cross reference ebay alot but know the prices can be on the crazy side sometimes, does anyone know any other reference source. Thanks for any help.

Re: It would be really cool if Spyderco could switch from 8Cr13MoV for budget blades to 14C28N

Looking at Larrin's data, 14c28n just seems like a pretty-darn-near ideal budget knife formula. High toughness with decent edge retention and good enough stain resistance means a knife that is hard to damage and easy to maintain which is, IMO just about perfect for entry level knives aimed at non-e...

I wonder if Larrin’s methodology could be applied to the CPM-M4 recipe to obtain a stainless version...

Re: Blade HQ Para 3 LW in M4

Pass, not sure if id do business with blade hq moving forward anyway. Some scandal I missed? Well it seems other people have chimed in with the info, but yeah the data breach and the way they seemed to not want to admit it, just kinda rubbed me the wrong way, I might purchase from blade hq in the f...

Re: Curious, whats everyone's edc backpack?

"Outdoor Products" brand, unknown model, purchased from Walmart for ~$20. I've used this bag for everything for ~5(?) years, now. Work, travel, motorcycle, bicycle, hiking, walking, it does everything for me and has held up great. https://i.imgur.com/8c9FU9n.jpg https://i.imgur.com/kwdEFZ...

Various ones depending on my loadout....Maxpedition, Swiss Army/Victorinox, High Sierra, Kifaru, Kemp...and a couple of others. They all serve their purpose and I've worn out several of various makers over the last 30 years. Pick one that is comfortable and carries your gear oriented to your prefer...
