I read somewhere that the pandemic has produced a lot of new knife and edc people. They are buying up all these awesome knives with all their stimulus $$. Its not just spyderco, try to find a new Hinderer.....we have more competition out there now.

Wish we got stimulus money

My issue is I can't put the para 3 and para 2 down so I have to force myself to carry my other knives now. I had plans to buy at least 3 more spydies but I can't justify it

Try tightening the body screws on the knives with blade play instead of the pivot.

I tried everything. The tolerances just arnt there.

Why are you taking them apart? There is a warranty process in place. I prefer Spyderco keep doing what they are doing, like securing the product at the factory so I don't have to. The idea that we need to disassemble them later on and tinker with them is part of the overall, weird obsession over wh...

How much blade play we talking? If you only feel it when you aggressively try moving the blade back and forth then don't worry about it but if you can feel the blade move without much force then send it to spyderco.

I'd just send it in to spyderco for warranty work.
