It's certainly my favorite. My pm3 sprint run has been my favorite edc for awhile now.

I help my friend on his crab boat in the summer time. Maybe I need to consider getting this one. What kind if edge retention does magnacut have? Am I gonna have to resharpen it after a day on the boat every time?

Public perception never bothers me. I've carried the native chief and pm2 with zero concern. But here in MD blade length is not a issue. I could potentially carry a sword on my back.

I've missed just about every sprint run I've been interested in. Either it released while I was sleeping or at work. Does anyone know when this milli 2 sprint run will drop? I have 5 pages to sites that will have it once it drops open and the knife in my wishlist on all 5 pages. Any recommendations ...

I was lucky and got my s90v. It's a beast of a knife and thin enough that carrying it is no problem. Highly recommend :)

I love it because of the texture. Very grippy. Id like to have it on all my spydercos.

Clamping any ffg is challenging. The flat spot near the handle (ricasso) is a good spot. As for even bevels... you really have to eyeball it. Getting an electronic angle gauge can help. But if you're starting off with uneven bevels (most knives come from the factory uneven), even grinding at the pe...

Hmm...could you maybe have bumped the knife out of position on the "short bevel" side? Did you spend equal time on both sides?

Yeah I counted my strokes. The bevel was off when I tried to free hand it but couldn't fix it with the KME. Instead I made it worse.

Be gentle with those diamond stones - they don't last much if you use too much pressure.

I watched a lot of videos. I let the weight of the stone do the work.

It's not as hard as I thought but I did make a mistake along the way. Bevel is wider on one side of the knife than the other. Gotta try to figure out how to fix that.
