Re: Favorite Spydercos You Got in 2023 - In Your Pocket in '24
It’s hard to remember which spyderco knives I picked up in 2023…. : - my cruwear Endela got some carried quite a bit this year. - Magnacut native 5 - my travel knife - sage 5- a great knife and design. a perfect EDC design - mule team 2 (spy27) used my mule 2 quite a bit this year. I cut up roots, v...

Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?
I’d probably say that it has not changed but that would be a lie. I still love 3 inch folders like the Native 5 and Sage however when looking at my purchases in 2023 and my recently carried knives over the last few months it looks like I may be gravitating toward larger folders like the shaman, pac ...

300 grit edge. Not pretty but it'll cut more like I'm used to. https://i.postimg.cc/Xv53Z1Zc/20231229-231209.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/VkpmkPNk/20231229-231232.jpg The hollow grind on that blade shape makes for a very attractive design. I am eager to read your thoughts on H2 steel after years of usi...

For folders Small - sub 3 inch Medium- 3-3.5 inches Large - 3.5-4 Extra large- 4+ inches Fixed blades Small= sub 2.5 inches Medium= 2.5-4 inches Large= 4 inches are longer Extra large= blade length 7 inches or longer I wonder if preferences would change when blade thickness is considered. For exampl...

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!
While my Chief is not LW, this is a comparison I can make of similar sized knives to those mentioned: Chief, Stretch 2 XL, Endura, Caribbean, PM2 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53375131985_89c3a6456c_c.jpg Thank you. The chief blade is not as tall as I imagined it to be and that’s a good thing...

It really is a great knife. I’ve been favoring it over the pm2 latelyHaunted House wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 8:15 pmCruwear Endela. I carry it every day, all my other knives have been collecting dust since the day I got it.
It really is the Goldilocks knife, imo.

Re: What knife do you actually carry and use the most?
My older pm2 and Manix 2 are probably used and carried most. They have scars from experiments/learning new skills in sharpening, poor cutting choices and several drops off of my roof. The scratches and dings make me less hesitant to actually use them over my newer knives. They are also perfect for a...

Re: Knife Battle
Since we are on comp locks … Yojimbo 1 vs Caribbean I do not own the Yojimbo 1. Though that design looks really pleasant to carry. I imagine that the handle provides great control over cuts. Why I picked the Caribbean- Grippy handles pair well with the compression lock because the knife is less like...

It’s a great design for any year. It’s on my purchase list for the holidays. There’s a 20cv Endura on sale at knifejoy that looks like an awesome work knife. https://www.knifejoy.com/products/spyderco-c10fpnb20cv-endura-knifejoy-exclusive-kj-navy-blue-frn-cpm20cv-knife?pr_prod_strat=use_description&...
