Re: Sci-fi series

I suppose "X-Files" might qualify as SF. If you like that, "Fringe" and "Eleventh Hour" are kind of similar. "Eleventh Hour" was originally made in the UK with Patrick Stewart. Then it was made in the US with Rufus Sewell. Sewell is also in "The Man In T...

Re: Spyderco Steel Types

I find that diamond abrasives eat all steels quickly so just set your bevel with a diamond stone and debur. You can get a knife silly sharp with a two step progression. With good skills and good stones you can do parlor tricks with a two stone progression followed by a quick strop. If I am not repr...

Re: A Tale of Two SD Knives

So, I've read up a bit on the thinking behind the Yojimbo, the force it can apply to the tip, the premium put on disabling in order to stop the assault, and I've bought into the philosophy behind the MBC approach. Seems reasonable and well thought out. Then I look at the well-regarded Chinook, whic...

Did anyone request an S90v PM2 with an inlay? Not sure I understand the point of all of these polls.
I think these are fun to read what the more veteran members prefer, as opposed to someone newer like me. Backlock and Spy27 with etch or inlay would be my vote.

Re: Spyderco Military Observations

With a Police clipped tip up, the smooth back and tapered butt end make it easy to access my pocket. With the Military clipped tip down, my hand rubs against the spine jimping and the edges around the opening hole. It doesn't hurt, but it doesn't feel as nice as the Police. Having used both tip up ...

Have you tried the Pacific Salt in LC200N? Sounds perfect for you. Endura sized, 2.5oz
Not yet, though I have been paying attention to your Pac Salt threads, which helped sell me on them and now it's just about budgeting. It's next on the list!

Re: Knife Size Weight Efficiency Scores

This second graphic is a blade:weight ratio, perhaps of interest only to the ultralight backpackers on the forum. The Enuff was so heavy for its blade length it unduly pulled on the regression line (as outliers toward the end of the line will do) so I pulled it out of the regression formula. Enjoy!...

Not for certain but I would guess as a starter thread to pull the lanyard through smaller lanyard holes? At least that would be what I would use it for.

I don't own any Manixs but I've ordered replacement steel clip screws on Etsy from screw4you for my Delicas. Looks like they carry some for the Manix 2 XL. Both Lynch and MXG clips comes with screws too.

I am just happy I was able to participate in my first Seconds Sale. Imagine stumbling upon the Spyderco culture this May and then being able to attend the first online Seconds Sale. How awesome is that?

Very appreciative of the Spyderco Team!!

given that eBay won't pull legitimate counterfeit listings after receiving multiple reports, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I'm not sure what is going on with that either. If I see a thread here, I've been following after you in reporting but seems like less than half were pulled down.

I have a few more but these are my personal "trifecta" of CTS 204p, CPM 20CV, and Bohler M390. (RGB knives, for those of you into PC gaming) https://i.imgur.com/vQ5bRVJ.jpg This is the way! And just stumbled upon mechanicals last month, no RGB for me yet. Still sorting out switch types.

I missed out on 2 or 3 orders right at the CC entry step, but that's how it goes sometimes.

Much appreciated to the Spyderco crew for offering this.
