I find it priced at $409.50 US the MSRP is $630 US IMHO it's overpriced even at $409.50 for what it brings, does being a Dmitry Sinkevich design justify this pricing?

I have just gotten into sharpening Chef type knives using besides my Spyderco stones, the Japanese water stones and using the Japanese style of doing the sharping.

I read somewhere can't remember where think it was in some other knife forum and don't know if it's true,that VG10 steel is only allowed to be used in knives blades Mfg. in Japan.

There is just so much one can do using the little round rods at some point, you really need some good quality stones if you want to restore a really dull or damaged blade.

I have the Spyderco Bench Stone Ultra Fine also the Spyderco Golden Stone both quality sharping aids for my Spyderco knives, then i also have a group of Japanese water stones for many other knives.

The Spyderco Catalog is the most colorful and uses the best quality of paper, i have about all the other major knife Catalogs and the Spyderco catalog is by far the best.

Use CorrosionX on blade steel a lite coating will give you a lot of extra protection.
