The most unique feature of this elite knife is its blade, which is precision machined from premium M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. Produced by the renowned Austrian steel firm Böhler-Uddeholm, M390 was developed to offer extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance for demanding manufacturing applications like the plastic molding industry. Its advanced alloy composition and ultra-fine microstructure also make it an outstanding blade steel, offering an exceptional combination of edge holding, corrosion resistance, toughness, and polishability. This knife's PlainEdge™ blade features a full-flat grind for low-friction cutting performance and Spyderco's signature Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous one-handed opening.
